B2B Sales Representative


£18,000 – £20,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Opportunity to earn up to £20,000 per annum in bonuses

40 hours p/w – Monday to Friday

Utility Planners UK are looking for an ambitious and dynamic B2B sales representative to join their rapidly expanding team. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for sourcing new business both on the traditional utilities and the renewable energy sides of the business.

As part of the team, you’ll enjoy the freedom and support you need to achieve your goals and our passion for developing our team members means you will potentially get the chance to progress to a Business Development Manager role further down the line.

This is a highly sought-after position so please ensure a timely response.

A can-do attitude when it comes to sourcing new business and the challenges it poses

Preferred but not essential…

An understanding of the utilities and/or renewable energy industry

Experience of telesales and B2B sales over the phone

Experience of meeting potential clients in a formal, face-to-face setting

An understanding of how to effectively arrange and diarise sales appointments

The Role

If you are successful at interview, you will be quickly brought up to speed with the UPUK ethos and given all the tools you need to do your job effectively. You will be responsible for finding and following up on leads to expand our customer base throughout the UK.

Not only will you be expected to communicate with potential customers via email and phone, you will also be expected to arrange face-to-face meetings to be attended by yourself and/or the Sales Director.

Responsible for the effective management of your time and will be brought up to speed on any software which will allow you to do this. In addition to this, you will be providing regular updates/sales reports to your line manager.
